We often describe our Security Assessment as a full physical for your network. Like a good checkup, it’s not about finding something scary. It’s about knowing where you stand and what to do next.
What we look at
- Computers and servers: are they up to date, protected and in good health?
- Your network and Wi-Fi: is it set up securely, and is the guest Wi-Fi kept separate from business computers?
- Email: is it protected against phishing and spoofing, and is two-step login turned on?
- Backups: what’s covered, where the copies go, and whether a restore actually works.
- Accounts and passwords: who has access to what, and whether old accounts were removed when people left.
- The basics many businesses miss, like firewall settings, router updates and remote access.
What you get
A plain-language summary, not a stack of technical jargon. It covers what’s working well, what needs attention, and what we’d do first, in order of importance. You decide what gets done and when.
Why it matters now
More insurance companies are asking businesses about their security before they renew a policy, and many clients are asking their suppliers the same question. An assessment gives you real answers and a plan you can show them.
The Security Assessment is a billable service, and we’ll talk it through with you before we start.
