Tap the parts of the email that look wrong.

If you get an email like this

    1. Don't click links or buttons, and don't open attachments.
    2. Check the sender's real address, not just the name. On a phone, tap the name to see it.
    3. Go to the company yourself. Type their website or use the phone number on your card or bill, not the one in the email.
    4. Report it to the Canadian Anti-Fraud Centre at antifraudcentre-centreantifraude.ca, then delete it.
    5. Already clicked or typed a password? Change that password now, and call your bank if money or card details are involved.
